Existing Personal Independence Payment Claimants
Claimants will gradually transfer over to Adult Disability Payment starting from 29 August 2022, transferring over between summer 2022 and summer 2025.
You will transfer when you report a change in your disability or health condition, you ask to move to Adult Disability Payment, or your award is ending or renewing from summer 2022. There is no need to re-apply and payments will remain the same during the transfer process. Payments will then be made by Social Security Scotland instead of the Department for Work and Pensions.
