East Ayrshire Carers Centre provides support, advice, information, training, advocacy, social activities, drop in centres, benefit and money advice & respite breaks for carers of all ages in East Ayrshire.
A carer is someone who provides support to family, friends or a neighbour who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner, friend or neighbour who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. Carers may even be juggling paid work with their unpaid caring responsibilities.
You do not need to be claiming Carers Allowance to get support from us.
We also support young carers from the age of 5 and run weekly young carers groups in Cumnock, Kilmarnock and Dalmellington.
