Pension Age Disability Payment is replacing Attendance Allowance for new claimants in East Ayrshire from 24th March 2025.  If you already get Attendance Allowance and live in Scotland you will move over automatically and Social Security Scotland will contact you telling you what will happen when you transfer.

Attendance Allowance for people of state pension age with physical and/or mental health difficulties who need help or have difficulties with certain activities detailed on the form, such as washing, dressing, etc. You do not have to have someone helping or caring for you to claim.
